Sir Walter Waffil Announces Giveaway of WAFFiLs for Loyal Eggo(R) Customers

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ — Sir Walter Waffil, chef and entrepreneur, has reacted to the national shortage announced by Kellogg’s® of Eggo® waffles, and has announced today that he will provide free WAFFiLs to help those suffering from the scarcity.

Inspired by the loyalty of the Eggo® consumer, Sir Waffil wanted to provide a means for those coping with the shortage of their favorite breakfast food. The shortage, caused by a temporary shutdown of production in Atlanta, Georgia, will extend into mid-2010.

Sir Waffil said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself…and a lack of waffles!”

Sir Waffil got his start in the culinary world in Devon, South West England in the 1950’s and dedicated his early career to his favorite breakfast confection, the waffle. After developing his own unique waffle recipe, he spent much of his time coming up with ideas on how to tell the world about it. Researching communications and technology, he became passionate about the world of digital signage, and envisioned an advertising apparatus that would build his customer loyalty through SMS texting.

With plenty of WAFFiLs available at the company headquarters in San Diego, California, a dedicated hotline has been set up to accommodate those Eggo® enthusiasts wishing to receive a free WAFFiL. For more information, please visit www.waffil.com or call the WAFFiL hotline at (888) 678-6681.
